Surveillance video shows robbery at northeast DC business
WASHINGTON - Police are searching for four people in connection with an early morning burglary at a business in northeast D.C.
In surveillance video released by police, a man can be seen cutting open the lock on the front door of a business in the 1500 block of Kenilworth Avenue around 3:45 a.m. on Thursday. September 8. (WATCH THE VIDEO)
The man entered the store and appeared to break into an ATM machine. He took an unknown amount of currency and fled in a white four door Chevy Impala.
Moments later, video shows three masked suspects entering the same business. Once inside, police say the three took an unknown amount of goods and also fled.
It is unclear if the individual subject and the group of three worked together in the burglary.
