WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - It feels like summer in the D.C. region! FOX 5's Mike Thomas says Tuesday's temperatures will rise into the 80s and 90s - but we'll also deal with some early showers and late night storms.
Mike says we can expect the morning rain to move into the D.C. region by around 6 a.m. and last through the late morning hours. Once the afternoon arrives and the wet weather moves out the heat returns with afternoon highs close to 92 degrees.
Another round of heavier storms and gusty winds moves our direction later this evening closer to the 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. hours. The threat for severe weather will be present, not only tonight, but Wednesday and Thursday night as well, Mike says. Cooler temperatures as we move into the weekend.
