POOLESVILLE, Md. - Rescue crews used rafts to reach a vehicle submerged in the Potomac River early Thursday morning at a ferry landing in Montgomery County.
The vehicle was spotted in the water off of Edwards Ferry along the 15200 block of Edwards Ferry Road in Poolesville around 6 a.m.
The vehicle was not occupied and was pulled from the water a short time later.
It is unclear how the vehicle got into the water or how long it has been there.
