Student in critical condition after medical emergency at high school in Arlington County

A student was transported to a hospital in critical condition after an medical emergency at a high school in Arlington County, Virginia.

Police say the incident was reported around 9 a.m. at Yorktown High School in Arlington. FOX 5's Tisha Lewis say that a student collapsed and was assisted by a nurse who performed CPR on them until help arrived.

Emergency crews rushed the student to a nearby hospital.

Police are still on the scene and say there is no known threat to the school community.
