Southwest Airlines plane, vehicle involved in collision on tarmac at BWI Airport
LINTHICUM, Md. - An airplane was involved in what appears to be a minor collision with a vehicle on the tarmac at Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
The incident was reported early Monday morning and involved a Southwest Airlines plane and a pickup truck.
Southwest Airlines released the following statement regarding the incident:
"Southwest Flight 6263 with scheduled service from Ft. Lauderdale to Baltimore was pulling into the gate at Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) when a ground vehicle came into contact with the aircraft. There are no reported injuries of the 172 passengers."
No injuries have been reported.
