Social media threats directed toward Williamsburg MS, Yorktown HS in Arlington
ARLINGTON, Va. - Police are investigating after they say they were alerted to threats of violence posted on social media directed toward two schools in Arlington.
Authorities say the threats were aimed at Williamsburg Middle School and Yorktown High School.
In a statement, police said "there are no credible threats to the safety of the school, students or staff."
There will be extra police presence at both of the schools Friday as a precaution.
