Snow falls in parts of Maryland, Virginia; chilly rain for most of DMV Monday
WASHINGTON - Some parts of Maryland and Virginia were hit by a blast of snow as a storm swept across the region early Monday.
FOX 5’s Maureen Umeh was in Hagerstown where the snow covered sidewalks and vehicles and placed emergency crews on stand-by.
The snow in parts of Virginia and West Virginia triggered closings and delays for some school districts.
Elsewhere in the Washington, D.C. region, rain is expected to fall for most of the day on Monday. Some areas can expect fog during the morning commute.
