Silver Spring death investigation closes part of Georgia Avenue
Police are investigating a death in Silver Spring.
SILVER SPRING, Md. - A homicide investigation in Silver Spring has closed part of Georgia Avenue.
Investigators were called to the 8000 block of Georgia Avenue around 3:30 a.m. where a man was found with trauma to the body along a pedestrian walkway under the Georgia Avenue overpass.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Georgia Avenue at East West Highway has been closed while police investigate.
The investigation is continuing.
