Several injuries reported after crash in Aspen Hill area; pedestrian struck and injured nearby
ASPEN HILL, Md. - Several people were injured in a vehicle crash in the Aspen Hill area of Montgomery County Wednesday.
Officials say the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. along Layhill Road near Bel Pre Road.
Motorists can expect delays in the area. The extent of the injuries reported is unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Nearby, near the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue, a pedestrian was struck. Officials say injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
