Selfless and stylish 9-year-old CEO gives back to community
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Rocco Ramos might be the kindest and most adorable CEO you'll ever meet. The 9-year-old also has style well beyond his years. The 4th grader has been rocking a bow tie since he was 3.
"I wear different bow ties everyday, because I want to switch up my style," he told FOX 29.
He worked with two retired seamstresses, and founded Rocco's Bow Ties in Pennsylvania.
And for every bow tie Rocco sells, he gives one away to somebody in need of a pick-me-up.
"He just wants people to feel good because he thinks a bow tie really makes somebody happy," said his mother, Millie Canales.
But Rocco's philanthropy doesn't stop there. As reported by The Morning Call, he's an academic tutor for fellow students at Cleveland Elementary, he volunteers as an Allentown Snow Angel to help seniors clear sidewalks, participates annually in his neighborhood cleanups, and every November and December -- donates his allowance to buy Christmas gifts for children in need.
"I have never seen a child at his age do so much for those who don't have," said seamstress Carmen Nunez.
