School bus and car involved in crash in Temple Hills; 1 killed
TEMPLE HILLS, Md. - A person has died after a crash between a school bus and a car in Temple Hills, authorities say.
Prince George's County police say the accident happened at around 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Temple Hill Road and Old Temple Hills Road. Witnesses say the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided. The crash caused the car to be engulfed in flames.
The driver of the car was trapped inside and killed. Authorities say there were only two adults on board the school bus. They were not injured.
Police told FOX 5 that they received a call for shots fired before a call came in about this crash. Police are trying to determine if both incidents are connected.
Temple Hill Road between Henderson Road and Portal Avenue was closed for several hours for the police investigation.
