Robbery attempt at Maryland Chipotle leads to gunfire
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - A tense confrontation outside a Chipotle restaurant in Bowie on Monday evening resulted in one shot being fired, though no one was injured, police said.

What we know:
At approximately 5:21 p.m., Bowie police responded to reports of shots fired at the Chipotle Mexican Grill, located at 15500 Excelsior Drive.
Officers determined that three Black men in their early 20s approached a man in the parking lot in an attempt to rob him.
The victim fled into the restaurant but was followed by one of the suspects, armed with a handgun. The two engaged in an altercation, the department said, during which one round was discharged.
The suspects left the Chipotle in a stolen black Chevrolet Camaro with D.C. plates (JK9546).
No injuries were reported, and Bowie police plan to continue to investigate the incident.
