The family of a 75-year-old man who was struck and killed on Columbia Pike put up a roadside memorial in his honor.

SILVER SPRING, Md. - The family of a 75-year-old man who was struck and killed on Columbia Pike put up a roadside memorial in his honor.

Teklu Bushen Siba was killed on the afternoon of March 16 while crossing the roadway.

Siba's family started a petition to improve pedestrian safety in Montgomery County.
