CLIFTON, Va. - Police have released images of suspicious graffiti found near the location where a man's body was discovered last month in a wooded area in Northern Virginia in hopes of identifying a suspect in the case.
The graffiti was found on a walkway close to where the body of 26-year-old James McDonald was discovered on May 22. His body was found in the woods along the 6100 block of Union Village Drive in the Clifton area of Fairfax County.
The graffiti reads "RIP Sucker" and "Alone" and includes a skull, a frowning face, broken hearts and roses.
Officials say they are still awaiting the final results from the medical examiner to determine McDonald's cause of death.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detective J. Vickery at 703-246-2856 or 1-866-411-TIPS.
