WASHINGTON - All runways at Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) have reopened after they were closed Monday evening to allow crews to focus on snow removal and prevent refreezing amid plunging temperatures.

The airport’s snow removal team worked throughout the day Monday to keep the airfield clear following significant snowfall. 

Airport officials said the closure was necessary to ensure safety and effective snow removal.
