Rat causes power outage for more than 1,500 people in Tysons

TYSONS, Va. - More than a thousand Dominion Power customers in Tysons lost power Friday night, thanks to a rat.

Peggy Fox, a spokesperson for Dominion Power, said a rat infiltrated a piece of equipment causing the outage.

Fox said 1,588 customers were without power for about an hour and five minutes.
