Rapper Kendrick Lamar opening up pop-up shop in DC

On the same day he will perform in concert in Washington, rapper Kendrick Lamar will be opening up a pop-up shop in Georgetown.

The pop-up will be located at the UBIQ apparel and footwear store at 3124 M Street in Northwest D.C. on July 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Grammy Award-winning artist is opening up pop-up shops in 17 different locations in the U.S. and Canada as he promotes his new album, "DAMN," along with his tour. It appears Lamar's Top Dawg Apparel gear will be some of the merchandise sold at the stores.

Kendrick's D.C. concert at the Verizon Center is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. with opening acts Travis Scott and D.R.A.M.
