WASHINGTON - The District may be easing up on traffic laws for bicyclists. A new bill proposed would allow bicyclists to observe stop signs and red lights as yield signs.
Currently, bike riders are required to stop at these traffic signals. The newly proposed law would allow them to come to a rolling stop while yielding to motorists and pedestrians.
A public hearing will be held on December 8th.
