PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY - Prince George's County police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed on Silver Hill Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to the scene around 12:58 p.m.
They say a vehicle was traveling west near the intersection with Brooks Drive when it struck the victim.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver remained at the scene, and was not hurt.
