Police search for man after woman stabbed near Metro station in Fairfax

FAIRFAX, Va. - Police are looking for a man they say stabbed a woman near a Metro station in Fairfax County. The stabbing happened around 7:45 a.m. near the intersection of Vaden Drive and Saintsbury Drive in Fairfax.

The possible suspect is described by police as a 5'4" tall man wearing a black hoodie.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and is in non-life-threatening condition.

The location of the stabbing is less than a mile from the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metro station.
