BETHESDA, Md. - Police have reunited a young boy with his family after the child was found alone early Thursday morning in Bethesda.
The boy, who appeared to be between 10 and 11-years-old, was found around 1:45 a.m. on Westlake Drive near the Westfield Montgomery mall.
The boy, who is non-verbal, appeared to have a disability like autism. He was unable to communicate to officers about his identity or his home address.
Detectives acted on a tip and were able to reunite the boy with his parents around 6:30 a.m.
