Police: No active shooter at Department of Justice
WASHINGTON - An all-clear was given at the Department of Justice building in the nation's capital after there was a large police response to a report of an active shooter, police say.
D.C. police have confirmed that the report came from a third-party call at around 4:43 p.m., which was determined to be unfounded.
A police source told FOX 5's Evan Lambert that this incident was likely a hoax call.
