CHARLOTTE, NC (WJZY) - A man was taken into custody after a gun was found inside his back pack during Sunday protests in Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
Officers said they made an arrest for a concealed carry weapon near Bank of America Stadium during the Carolina Panthers game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Video obtained by FOX 46 Charlotte shows a man in a black shirt and yellow hat in police custody. An officer can be seen searching through a back pack. In the video the officer can be seen holding an evidence bag with a gun inside of it.
Bruce Garmon, 30, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
On Sunday, demonstrators gathered in front of Bank of America Stadium in Uptown Charlotte for another round of protests over the fatal police shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott.

This round of protests came just a day after Charlotte Police Chief Kerr Putney released dash-camera and body camera footage from the shooting.
