A Virginia man is facing charges after police say he was carrying a firearm on school property.

The incident was reported around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tuscarora High School in Leesburg where officers responded to reports of a man with a gun.

Police made contact with the man who they say told them he was a recent Tuscarora High School and military boot camp graduate and that he had come back to the school to speak with students about joining the military.
