Police investigating hit and run in Kensington

KENSINGTON, Md. - Montgomery County Police detectives are investigating a hit and run accident that happened Sunday in Kensington.

According to Montgomery County Police Cpt. Paul Starks, the accident happened at Armory street and Mitchell street in Kensington.

A 25 year old suspect struck a 26 year old victim with his car after an earlier argument.

The suspect then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect, hours later, turned himself into police and was being interviewed by investigators.

This is an ongoing investigation.
