Police investigate homicide after man killed inside Temple Hills motel

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. - Police are investigating the death of a man inside of a Temple Hills motel as a homicide.

Officers say they responded to a Budget Inn in the 3100 block of Branch Avenue around 12:30 a.m. for reports of a victim suffering from trauma to the body.

Detectives say emergency crews transported the man to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Police have not said what type of injuries the man suffered.

The investigation is still continuing at this time.
