ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Police are still looking for answers after they say 34-year-old Ashley Dickinson and 29-year-old Joshua Frazier have been identified as the victims who were found shot to death in a running car in Montgomery County Thursday night.
Dickinson, from Alexandria, and Frazier, from Woodbridge were found murdered Thursday night in Burtonsville, according to investigators.
Montgomery County police are calling this a tragic case, but they still haven't released much information about what happened and their deaths remains a mystery.
Investigators say just before 10 p.m., a neighbor walking in the area of Aldora Circle when they noticed a white SUV with the engine running and with its lights on and saw a man and woman inside who appeared to be dead. The neighbor called 911 and investigators confirmed that once they got on scene that the man and woman had been shot.
It's unclear how the two knew each other, but FOX 5 went by both homes of the victims, and their families were not ready to speak. A neighbor of Frazier says his death comes as a shock, saying he was a father and a good person who always looked out for everyone else.
"He's a dad, his son is 9 years old, I was crying for his son. Him and his dad were close. When I first heard about it I was stuck, I kept reading the text over again, making sure I'm reading it right. It was crazy," said Keyontae Siggal.
