Police find dead man, woman covered in blood in Stafford home
STAFFORD, Va. - Stafford County police say they found a man and woman with gunshot wounds to the head after responding to a 911 call Saturday night.
Police say they arrived to the scene around 6 p.m. Saturday on New Hope Church Road.
They found a man and woman with gunshot wounds to the head in one of the home's bedrooms.
They identified the man as 41-year-old Michael Shane Nelson of Stafford County. The woman, whose identity was not disclosed, is recovering at a nearby hospital.
Police are investigating.
