Police arrest man accused of peeping into women's bathroom stall at Fairfax County store

A man was arrested in Fairfax County, accused of peeping into a stall in a women’s restroom.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 23, officers responded to the Unique Thrift at 2956 Gallow’s Road for a report of an incident involving a suspicious person.

When officers arrived, they were told that 33-year-old Demetrius Anderson had reportedly followed a woman into a restroom and pushed open her door while she was inside the stall. The victim yelled at Anderson and he left the bathroom but remained at the entrance of the store.

Police placed Anderson under arrest without incident. He has been charged with peeping and public intoxication and was also served with outstanding warrants.

Now, detectives say they have reason to believe there may be other victims out there that the suspect committed lewd acts against.

"Please come forward. It helps us get justice for all of the victims involved in this, including the one from the incident on Friday. It helps solidify the case," Fairfax County Lieutenant  William Arnest said.

Anderson is currently being held in the Fairfax County jail without bond.
