Pamela Butler's ex-boyfriend admits dumping body, sources say search in works
WASHINGTON - The convicted killer of missing D.C. woman Pamela Butler has now reportedly admitted to dumping her body. Sources say authorities are now in the process of planning a search to find her remains.
The 47-year-old computer specialist who worked for the EPA vanished from her Northwest home in February 2009.
FOX 5 has learned Butler's ex-boyfriend, Jose Rodriguez -Cruz, who pled guilty to abducting and killing her, told investigators where he disposed of her body as part of his plea deal.
Rodriguez -Cruz wasn't arrested until April, eight years after Butler's disappearance.
Rodriguez-Cruz allegedly told police and prosecutors he buried the woman's body along I-95 in Virginia.
Butler and Jose Rodriguez Cruz were dating before he admitted killing her during an argument in the basement of her home.
