Pamela Butler's ex-boyfriend admits dumping body, sources say search in works

The convicted killer of missing D.C. woman Pamela Butler has now reportedly admitted to dumping her body. Sources say authorities are now in the process of planning a search to find her remains.

The 47-year-old computer specialist who worked for the EPA vanished from her Northwest home in February 2009.

FOX 5 has learned Butler's ex-boyfriend, Jose Rodriguez -Cruz, who pled guilty to abducting and killing her, told investigators where he disposed of her body as part of his plea deal.

Rodriguez -Cruz wasn't arrested until April, eight years after Butler's disappearance.

Rodriguez-Cruz allegedly told police and prosecutors he buried the woman's body along I-95 in Virginia.

Butler and Jose Rodriguez Cruz were dating before he admitted killing her during an argument in the basement of her home.
