Over 300 teaching position vacancies remain in Prince William Co. Public Schools as new year begins

MANASSAS, Va. - Prince William County Public Schools will begin the school year with over 300 vacant teaching positions.

According to a search on the school system's job website, nearly 350 certified teaching jobs remain open as of Thursday.

Nearly 130 of those open positons are in the special education field.

The first day of school for Prince William County Public Schools is August 21.
