HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police say one person is dead after a man drove a car into a crowd of dozens of people in a Montrose district parking lot following a fight.
It happened in the wee hours of Thursday morning on Grant Road at Hyde Park.
A fight took place in the parking lot of restaurant and bar, where the man was beat up by several others.
Witnesses say he got into a car and retaliated by deliberately driving into people through the parking lot where the fight happened.
He ran at least four people over and hit multiple cars.
The suspect came to a stop against a fence with one man trapped under the silver 2011 Dodge Avenger.
The victim was dragged by the Avenger and pinned underneath it. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.
A 23-year-old male was taken to a hospital with injuries to his right leg and torso.
Cordale Robinson, 25, is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
