One dead after apartment fire in Fairfax County

MERRIFIELD, Va. - One person is dead after a fire broke out Sunday morning in a Fairfax County apartment building.
Firefighters say the blaze started around 6 a.m. in the 2900 block of Kings Chapel Road in Merrifield.
Firefighters say the apartment was fully engulfed in flames, and they found the victim dead at the scene.
No word yet on what caused the fire, or the identity of the victim.
