Navy Federal Credit Union says users 'now able to see their deposits in their accounts'
VIENNA, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - The Navy Federal Credit Union has posted on Twitter that customers are now able to see their deposits in their accounts after many customers encountered problems Friday.
Numerous customers tweeted earlier in the day that they were having account issues. Several tweets from the credit union's official account have acknowledged the problems. One tweet said they were receiving a high volume of calls related to the matter.
In one reply from just before 7 a.m., Navy Federal Credit Union wrote, "We're aware there's a delay with posting of transactions. We will update everyone as soon as possible."
In a tweet around 11 a.m. the credit union said, "Members are now able to see their deposits in their accounts. Currently, online banking is unavailable. Members may be experiencing intermittent issues accessing our mobile app and phone services. We will update this message once services are back up."
Navy Federal Credit Union customers also experienced delays with account deposits in December of last year.
