National Museum of Women in the Arts reopens after renovation
WASHINGTON - The National Museum of Women in the Arts has reopened after a major renovation.
The two-year makeover cost over $70 million and brings a redesign to the museum’s exhibition spaces.
The museum displays women's contributions to the history of art and is located just off the National Mall in downtown D.C.
Museum hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening hours are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month.
