National Museum of African American History and Culture re-releasing free timed passes

WASHINGTON - The Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture is re-releasing free timed passes Wednesday.

In a press release, the Museum said the online reservation system showed passes for October, November and December - which had already been distributed - instead of January, February and March.

As a result, 64,000 passes had been issued, they said, for days between January and March that were not convenient for the visitor.

The museum began the re-release for January, February and March 2017 passes on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m.
