Motorcycle crash leaves 1 dead in Upper Marlboro

The driver of a motorcycle is dead after a crash in Prince George's County.

Maryland State Police identified the deceased as 49-year-old Bryan McKinley Hall of Upper Marlboro. 

Authorities say the crash was reported around 7 p.m. Monday on Route 301 north of Leeland Road in the Upper Marlboro area.

Investigators say the 2009 Suzuki motorcycle was heading northbound when it struck the passenger side of a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer was attempting to make a U-turn from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes on Route 301. Mckinley died at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.

Maryland State Police is reminding motorists to share the road safely and not to engage in aggressive or distracted driving.
