Maryland vaccine update
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan says there’s 'good news and some not-so-good news' on the availability of vaccines for the state. He toured a new vaccine equity site at a Prince George’s County church on Tuesday as he faces greater calls for more mass vaccination sites, especially in Montgomery County.
GERMANTOWN, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Montgomery County – which saw the first COVID-19 cases in the region a year ago – could soon have its own mass vaccination site, according to local officials.

Governor Larry Hogan noted, however, that no final decision has been reached, and the announcement from the county could be premature.
Hogan said a decision should come next week.

County officials on Tuesday announced that the Montgomery College Germantown campus will house Maryland’s newest vaccination site.
According to Councilmember Tom Hucker, they hope to provide 3,000 doses per day to residents in the state’s most densely populated county.
Hucker did not specify a date, saying only that they hope to have it set up "in the coming weeks."
