Maryland man charged after allegedly plowing a truck into a store

AVENUE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A man is under arrest after he drove a truck through the wall of a St. Mary's County shop Friday night, according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators say Dylan Charles Waugaman ran away from the scene at Murphy's Town & County store before they arrived and tried to break into a nearby home.

When he could not get into the home, he reportedly ran into the woods, where deputies located him.

A post on the store's Facebook page indicates that no one was injured during the incident.
