Man struck, killed by truck in Fairfax County

Authorities in Fairfax County say a man was struck and killed by a truck early Monday.

CHANTILLY, Va. - Authorities in Fairfax County say a man was struck and killed by a truck early Monday.

The crash happened around 7 a.m. near Route 28 and Poplar Tree Road in Chantilly.

The man died at the scene. Police say the striking vehicle remained at the location.

Two lanes of northbound Rt. 28 were closed. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
