Man shot multiple times, once in the chest, in southeast DC

WASHINGTON - Authorities are investigating after a man was shot multiple times Monday night in southeast Washington.

The shooting was reported around 10:45 p.m. in the 3600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

Police the man suffered several gunshot wounds, including one to the chest and two to the abdomen. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Investigators have no suspects or motives in the case.
