Man found shot dead in northeast DC

WASHINGTON - Police are investigating a deadly shooting in northeast D.C. The shooting happened in the 1900 block of West Virginia Avenue around 2 a.m.

Police an adult male was found dead at the scene. So far they have no word on a motive or suspect.

West Virginia Avenue at Fenwick Street and Mount Olivet Road is closed while police investigate.
