Authorities say a man is dead and a woman has life-threatening injuries after they were shot late Thursday in Frederick.
The shooting was reported around 10 a.m. in the 1000 block of Columbine Drive.
Officials say the woman remains hospitalized at this time. No suspects or motives have been reported.
The shooting happened about a mile from Hood College and near North Frederick Elementary School.
