Police continuing to search for suspect in deadly shooting at Fairfax County gas station
Fairfax County police are continuing their investigation into a deadly shooting that took place on Richmond Highway.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - Authorities say a man is dead after a morning shooting in Fairfax County.
The shooting was reported Tuesday in the 6200 block of Richmond Highway. Police say detectives found the man suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived. He later died at the scene.
FOX 5's Maureen Umeh say it happened at a Citgo gas station at the address. Umeh says preliminarily, the victim and suspect were involved in an altercation prior to the shooting. Officers are looking for a dark-colored Ford SUV with Virginia tags.
