Man busted with guns, drugs after evading fare at Pentagon City Metro: police

A Maryland man is behind bars after a fare evasion at the Pentagon City Metro Station turned into a weapons and drug bust Thursday.

Metro Transit Police say 24-year-old Malike Razon Brittain, of Clinton, Md., was stopped for fare evasion when he refused to show his ID to officers. 

After placing Brittain under arrest, officers found an assault rifle-pistol and one revolver, quantities of crack cocaine and a prescription drug with codeine during a search, according to police. 

Brittain has been charged with carrying a concealed firearm, possession with intent to distribute, defacing a firearm serial number, possession of a firearm while unlawfully carrying a narcotic and fare evasion.
