WASHINGTON - The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society held its annual Leukemia Ball on Saturday at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in D.C.
The nearly 2,000 attendees made a goal of raising $3 million dollars for blood cancer research -- and they met their goal!
The night included a reception as well as a silent auction. There was dinner, a raffle, as well as music and dancing. There were also special performances including singer Phil Vassar and comedian Jeff Foxworthy.
FOX 5 DC reporters and anchors were out in full force to support the cause.
