WASHINGTON - If you weren't one of the hundreds who lined up at the Kennedy Center to score great seats to "Hamilton," don't worry, the Kennedy Center said it will be releasing $10 tickets to the performances.
The Kennedy Center announced it would be releasing 40 orchestra-seat tickets for all performances for just $10.
Details about how the program will work to acquire the $10 tickets have not been announced at this time, but the Kennedy Center said more information would be released closer to the performances.
Tickets went on sale Tuesday morning and saw a large crowd line up for their chance to watch the Broadway hit in Washington.
Tickets are on sale online and range in price from $99 to $625. There is a maximum purchase limit of four tickets each.
"Hamilton" is a musical production that combines singing and rapping as it follows the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton. The show will have performances at the Kennedy Center from June 12 and September 16.
