WASHINGTON - D.C. police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile in Northwest D.C. Thursday evening.
Police say the shooting happened at around 6:41 p.m. in the 1600 block of Irving Street.
The male victim was shot in the lower extremities, but was conscious and breathing, officials say.
Police are on the lookout for a Hispanic male with a thin build. He is described as being 5-feet-10-inches tall with curly black hair. The suspect was wearing a black-hooded sweater and armed with a silver gun.
