Clean-up underway after 2 tractor-trailers crash on I-495
Some lanes have opened after two tractor-trailers crashed on the outer loop of I-495 Wednesday evening. Traffic was being diverted to Northbound 270. No injuries were reported.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - Part of the outer loop of the Capital Beltway, before the Bradley Boulevard exit, was closed Wednesday evening due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene just after 7 p.m.

There's no word on what led to this crash, however, Maryland State Police said two tractor-trailers were involved.
Police said the trucks' fuel tanks were "compromised," and fireboard personnel had to siphon the remaining fuel. A sand truck was also requested from the Maryland State Highway Administration.
Heavy-duty tow trucks were called in to help clear the scene while drivers were forced to wait until the area was partially cleaned up.

Traffic from MD 187 to the outer loop of I-495 was halted during the clean-up, however, all lanes have since reopened.
No injuries were reported.
