Inside the British Embassy with FOX 5

Standing along busy Massachusetts Avenue, the embassy looks like a typical office building from the street. But once inside the gates, you see the true beauty of an English country manor tucked inside the nation's capital.

FOX 5 takes you inside the gates if the British Embassy for a visit with British Ambassador to the U.S., Sir Kim Darroch, who shares some of the unique history of one of the most important buildings on embassy row!

The British Embassy is only open to tourists one day a year - and it's this Saturday, May 11. The embassies of 28 EU member states to the United States will open their doors to the Washington, D.C. public from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Find more information about the EU Open House online.
